The Client
In 1920 Harold Joseph Reece began selling plumbing products from the back of his truck and later opened the first HJ Reece store in Caulfield. In the new century, Reece began to set its sights beyond Australia, sourcing products internationally and in 2006 expanding to New Zealand. Today, under the leadership of Peter Wilson, Reece has 800 outlets across ANZ and the US, sourcing products from more than 20 countries.
Project
Careful scheduling with the client Whytehall was able to do carry out a demolition and strip out of existing fixtures whilst Reece was able to trade throughout. New structural works were carried out before a new retail showroom was constructed. Product Display unit and space for meetings and presentations were constructed. A new trade centre counter as well as Bath, Sink, Basin and Taps displays were also built inhouse as a complete package fit out.
