Mirage Hotel
The Client
This hotel has a long and established history but the recent incarnation began in November 2000 when Westreet Hotel company took over management of this iconic establishment.
Since that time they have transformed it into a place where the local community can enjoy festives times with friends and family and enjoy the warm and welcoming experience that the staff and venue offer.
Project
Whytehall undertook a major upgrade to this established hotel in Punchbowl. On the ground floor brick walls were removed and steel beams inserted to support the upper story. Solid jarrah timber windows, which were fabricated on-site, were then fitted in the spaces created.
A new curved bar and bulkhead walls were constructed; the bottle shop was fitted out with new wine display units; and shelving and custom bases and end panels were built for the poker machines. The existing bar, including the on-line drinking taps, was also refurbished and modifications were made in the downstairs cellar room.
