The Client
Compounding is the process of making a medication from raw ingredients that are either not readily available, currently out of stock or were not manufactured in the precise dose and/or dosage form that has been prescribed. Compounding includes the combining of two or more drugs. This is a safe and reliable way to obtain customised medications for the patient and not administered as a set and predetermined dose like commercial medications.
Project
Whytehall was selected to undertake an expansion of a Compounding Room in a very small pharmacy outlet. All works were carried out whilst the pharmacy was still trading. New partition walls, access door, viewing window, painting, plumbing, flooring and all in house designed and manufactured joinery was used in the expansion. Not only does the area have increased storage area, it has also been drastically improved. Whytehall specialises in Pharmacies both big and small.
